ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Adenike

My name is Adenike. I'm a Certified holistic Nutritionist and the founder of Renewedbyplants. My journey into plant-based lifestyle started after I discovered the relationship between the food we eat and how they affect our health. I am very passionate about this lifestyle because of the way my health has improved since I started following this lifestyle. I believe weight loss is just a happy side effect of eating whole food plant based. When the health is taking care of by eating whole food plant-based food, the weight will fall off.

A short background story about how I decided to follow this lifestyle: my mum of blessed memory died of complications from diabetes type 2. All along we have always been told that the cause of diabetes type 2 is eating too much 'Sugar' which turns out to be false. I went through two pregnancies dealing with 'Gestational diabetes' and 'Cholestasis'. It was when I started this lifestyle that I discovered that the causes of most chronic illnesses like diabetes type 2, high blood pressure, sleep apnea… are from the animal and processed food which includes oil.

This is why I create a platform where I can share information about plant-based lifestyle and how it can help with preventing and reversing some these diseases.
